What We Do

End Your Marriage Lawfully From Anywhere

We manage the Union Council notice, the Family Court proceedings, and the divorce certificate on your behalf — and guide you through the attestation needed for your divorce to be recognised in your country of residence.

Most overseas clients never need to travel. Through a Special Power of Attorney executed and attested at your nearest Pakistani Embassy or Consulate, we act for you in Karachi from start to finish, keeping you updated at every step.

Both Muslim and non-Muslim communities are covered under their respective personal laws, and any custody or maintenance issues arising from the divorce can be handled in the same matter.

Two Routes

Husband or Wife — From Abroad

Divorce (Talaq) from Abroad

For the Husband · Talaq

  1. We draft your written Divorce Deed after reviewing your case.
  2. You sign it and have it attested at the Pakistani Embassy/Consulate, witnessed by two witnesses.
  3. We serve the Talaq notice on the Union Council in Karachi via Power of Attorney.
  4. The Union Council observes the 90-day reconciliation period.
  5. The divorce certificate is issued once the period expires.

Khula from Abroad

For the Wife · Khula

  1. You execute a Special Power of Attorney, attested at the Pakistani Embassy/Consulate.
  2. We file your Khula petition in the Karachi Family Court — you need not appear.
  3. The court issues notice and attempts reconciliation.
  4. If reconciliation fails, the court grants the Khula decree — even without the husband’s consent.
  5. The decree goes to the Union Council, which issues the divorce certificate.

Making It Valid Abroad

To use your Pakistani divorce certificate in your country of residence — for legal status, remarriage, or immigration — it usually must be attested through the proper chain. Skipping this is the most common reason overseas divorces cause problems later.

MOFA Pakistan

The divorce certificate is first attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan — the gateway to foreign recognition.

Step 1 · Attestation

Embassy / Consulate

It is then attested by the relevant Pakistan Embassy or Consulate for the country where you live.

Step 2 · Legalisation

Recognised Where You Live

Once attested, the certificate can be used for legal status, remarriage, or immigration abroad — not only in Pakistan.

Foreign Recognition

The Common Mistake

Overseas divorces most often fail abroad because this attestation chain was skipped. We handle it end to end.
